New Vendor Partners

I’ve always loved meeting new people but put that with new business owners and I’m giddy.  I’m proud to be associated with local companies that not only meet my needs as a Marketing Consultant, but ones I am proud to refer on to others.

I am getting new calls and emails from businesses across the  United States saying “We’d love to be on your Vendor Partner page.”  I want to respond, “Oh I’m sure you would?  Who the heck are you?  Have we met for coffee?  Are you local?  Do we have each other cell phone numbers in case there is ever a problem with someone I referred to you?”  And the list goes on.

Relationship Marketing can be defined as “Marketing with the conscious aim to develop and manage long-term and/or trusting relationships rather than the individual transtion with customers, distributors, suppliers, or other parties in order to increase and improve overall profitability and success.”   I will add it’s knowing I can count on that business owner to do the best they can to make that referral happy and vice versa.

Holiday Marketing Ideas

Whether your business depends on the  holiday season for a substantial part of your annual revenues or you find it to be a slow time of year,  it’s never more critical than now to remain engaged and connected with your prospect and customer base. And that means embracing the holiday season as part of your marketing strategy.

Sending holiday greetings are important, however, try other online and offline marketing tactics to ensure you  remain relevant and top of mind throughout the season and into the new year.

Here are some ideas to put in your holiday toolkit.

You don’t have to break the bank for effective Promotions, Incentives and Giveaways

Promotions and incentives needn’t be restricted to brick & mortar stores. There is season-appropriate discount, bundle, or giveaway that you can offer your customers, no matter what your industry.

Happy Thanksgiving

The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving. ~H.U. Westermayer

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, “thank you,” that would suffice. ~Meister Eckhart

Thanksgiving Day is a jewel, to set in the hearts of honest men; but be careful that you do not take the day, and leave out the gratitude. ~E.P. Powell

So once in every year we throng
Upon a day apart,
To praise the Lord with feast and song
In thankfulness of heart.
~Arthur Guiterman, The First Thanksgiving

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. ~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Remember God’s bounty in the year. String the pearls of His favor. Hide the dark parts, except so far as they are breaking out in light! Give this one day to thanks, to joy, to gratitude! ~Henry Ward Beecher

Thanksgiving Day comes, by statute, once a year; to the honest man it comes as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow. ~Edward Sandford Martin

His Shoes
His Shoes was founded by Lee Eddins in March of 08. We have already collected over 1,500 pair of gently worn shoes and over 700 pair of new socks. We are working with Central Union Mission in Washington, D.C. and Mission Possible in Austin as well a case by case basis locally.

Mission:
To provide shoes and socks to those in need.

His Shoes will strive to put shoes and socks on the feet of the needy and underprivileged. The needy  and underpriviged are defined as the homeless, the helpless and the fatherless residing on the streets, in shelters and in foster homes. Our goal is to reach their needs by taking a grassroots level approach to collecting shoes and socks. We will change our city, our country and our world.
